Jeff Kissell- drums, percussion
Musical History- Jeff hails from the Western Suburbs of Chicago, and has made his way professionally in the Mid- West scene since the late 1980's. Touring and recording with local bands and teaching percussion has been his MO for more than 25 years. Jeff runs his own Music School, Excel Music, in North Aurora and teaches percussion in the local schools while maintaining a healthy playing and recording schedule as well. Well versed in most musical styles, Jeff exhibits musicianship, skill, and a heavy groove every time he takes the stage. Jeff has played with the Rainshakers, Voodoo Kings, Groover, TBird Huck and The MVP's, Painkiller Hotel, Twist & The Groove Machine, 4 Man Band, Dona Oxford. He has shared the stage with Al Greene, The Doobie Bros, Little Feat, and Ted Nugent. Planet Groove is lucky to have Jeff!
